Sesame Bean Curd (crispy and soft)

All this including tax and tip: members $15.00; nonmembers: $18.00

MEETINGS
MARK THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR!

North Shore Vegetarians (NSV) meets the third Thursday of each month, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED at the Hunt Center (via Outpatient entrance, 75 Lindall Street, Danvers, MA. Meetings start at 7:30PM and are open to the public. Directions  follow Route 128 to Exit 62 West/Danvers (in Danvers Route 62 is Poplar Street). On Poplar Street, follow the signs to Hunt Center, take a right onto Winthrop Street, at the Stop sign take a left onto Lindall Street.

February 20th
Why eat seaweed in your diet? Come to the February NSV meeting and find out why and how easy it is. Larch Hanson, veteran northern Maine seaweed harvester, activist and humanitarian will give a slide show and short video that will educate as well as entertain.

March 20th
Do you have too many cookbooks? Join us in March by making a spring recipe (ex. cold soup or light salad) and bring a cookbook for a cookbook exchange. Make something from that cookbook if it fits our theme. Wrap the cookbook and we will do a Yankee swap.

April 17th
First annual seed swap. Bring some of your favorite seeds to swap with other members. We can all have a garden, even indoors with herbs. Garden planning discussion. Make a fruit dessert.


All food dishes must be vegan (no animal, dairy or honey products) and should serve 12+ number of people. Also, bring copies of your recipe. We will supply the paper products and refreshments. For any demonstration bring your own equipment and utensils.


MEMBERSHIP
North Shore Vegetarians is an all volunteer organization dedicated to educating the public about vegetarianism and the health benefits associated with a plant based diet, as well as addressing ethical and environmental concerns. Membership is open to both vegetarians and those interested in exploring healthier ways of eating.

Membership extends from April to April. Single is $15.00, family $25.00. Money defrays the cost of mailings, and meetings. For those who wish to attend a particular meeting before becoming or rather than becoming a member will be asked to donate $3.00 for each specified meeting. You may bring cash or a check (made out to North Shore Vegetarians) to any meeting or mail to : North Shore Vegetarians, P.O. Box 3313, Beverly, MA. 01915.
